Reminiscing My Past

Looking back envisioning all that I have done
And been through
The things that changes my life
I realize I live the memories of my past

No matter what I do, where I am
I’ll always live reminiscence my past

Life is a journey not a destination
Once a problem is gone another one follows
And if you think this one is harder, wait ‘till the next one
When done, you could look back
And reminiscence your life of the past

No matter what I do
I’ll always live reminiscence my past

At times life is tough, rougher than a self-inflicted injury
I remember when I used to be up all night
Hustling to keep up good grades in school
I recall when my half-brothers and sisters had conflicting interests with me
Calling me names and wishing me ill
I recall when the Fed caught me on false pretext
And my lawyers proving my innocence
To put an end to selling on the street for making a living
It was a drama, harder than the double murder trial of O.J.

No matter what I do
I’ll always live reminiscence my past

What makes my past precious is that I can’t bring it back
And when I look back, assessing all the good and the bad things
I understand, how far I have come through
With these successes and failures, I still live the treasury of my past
And if had to do it all over again
I would never alienate the fate of my past

No matter what I do
I’ll always live reminiscence my past
